Summary
Filmmaker John Waters discusses his career in movies and on Broadway with hosts Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins. Waters, who directed several underground cult hits of the 1970s such as Pink flamingos and Female trouble, talks about his friend and longtime star Divine. He also describes how two of his movies, Hairspray and Cry-Baby, became Broadway musicals. Includes excerpts from several of Waters' films as well as the two stage adaptations.
