  1. · To Teresa Guiccioli, Italian mistress of Lord Byron : 1 letter signed : 7 May 1824 : (B'ANA 0440) : from Imola : informing her that her husband, Count Alessandro Guiccioli, has appealed to the Pope for an order obliging her to carry out her matrimonial duties because the allegations against him were false. Teresa had left her husband for Lord Byron in 1820. She briefly returned to the Count in 1826, but finally obtained a legal separation from him by the end of that year.
