Summary
  1. This is a compilation of unedited interviews for three different programs. The first introduces Frank Miller, a cellist in the NBC orchestra for fifteen years, and an unidentified interviewer, with whom Miller discusses the importance of his experience with Toscanini and the "training" he received, the tempi of maestro and his influence on the world of music. The second interview is between Tony Randall, an actor, and Gene Rayburn in which Randall says that one person who made the biggest impression on him was Toscanini, and states that the good musicianship of today is due to Toscanini who by faithfully following the composers scores eliminated sloppy, improvised and therefore distorted music that for years before him was widely accepted. In the third interview Walter Toscanini talks with Jack Franchetti about his father's heritage and what is done to keep it alive as well as about the work he and others do to preserve his father's collection of recordings.
