- Summary
- The intermission features a recording of an interview between Don Gillis and Kent Kennan, a composer and professor of music, who in 1936 at the age of twenty-three wrote a music piece called "Night Soliloquy" which Toscanini liked and performed. He recalls his thrill at having been chosen by maestro and credits him with the popularization of this work.
