- Summary
- Performance artist Christa Maiwald plays a little girl named Chrissie in this series of comic sketches involving interaction with adults. As her father prepares dinner, she mixes the ingredients for baking a cake on the kitchen floor, steals dinner from the oven and fakes suicide. In "Bedtime Story," her father reads to her in German. She finally asks: "What's that mean?" In "The Discovery," Chrissie is "discovered" by a famous television commercial director as she takes a bubblebath with a tubful of waterlogged stuffed animals. (This tape is also available in 3/4 in. format).
