Summary
Eight months after the death of her mother from cancer, 23-year-old filmmaker Maxi Cohen decided to make a film about her father, Joe. With sensitive probing by cameraman/co-director Joel Gold, the camera becomes the catalyst for, and recorder of, Maxi's efforts to develop a closer relationship with her father. Midway through the filming, Joe learns he has cancer. The filming continues, now becoming a chronicle of the final months of Joe's life, with each member of the family struggling to deal with his impending death.
