Description

Summary
Shot on location in Nevada, this documentary profiles the women of America's best-known brothel (inspiration for the Broadway musical, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas). The women discuss their profession and their feelings about men. A recurring theme is the "Line-Up" in which the women present themselves to prospective customers. As the cameras roll, "The Girls" receive a Japanese tour group, celebrate a Thanksgiving dinner, and buy "work clothes" from a lingerie salesman. Without sensationalism or nudity, this film provides a human look at an outcast profession.
