- Summary
- Richardson stars as an airplane factory magnate obsessed with breaking the sound barrier. To that end, he sends his son-in-law aloft only to have him killed. Yet, he continues to send pilot after pilot to achieve this aeronautical feat. His daughter, however, is revolted by the devotion her father and husband have for aeronautical experimentation, until she realizes the kind of dedication it takes to confront the mysteries of speed and space.
