Summary
The Nazi armies are halted at the gates of Moscow and Leningrad, and suffer a stunning defeat at the Battle of Stalingrad. The editing of the film resembles Eisenstein. Russian music and footage from feature films augment this tribute to the determination of the Russian people to win their fight against the Nazis.
