Summary

High school football player Benny Zimmer works hard to become a starting linebacker and resorts to anabolic steroids use to increase his muscle size. Over several weeks, Benny experiences serious physical side effects and personality changes that alienate his friends. Ultimately, he is expelled from the team and must come to terms with his drug abuse.
