- Summary
- In this fable of alienation and self-realization in modern society, Finnish director Kaurismäki tracks the life of Iris, a young factory worker who is ignored in her home, at work and in the nightclubs she frequents. After she picks up a businessman for a one-night stand and then is subsequently ignored by him as well, she plots her revenge. Includes Kaurismaki's short film Those were the days.
