Off the Cape of Good Hope, the Calypso divers capture two fur seals. Cousteau decides to conduct an experiment to determine if the animals can be trained to form a relationship with man. The seals, named Pepito and Cristobal, are taken to a bay in the Grenadine Islands in the Caribbean Sea where they learn to swim and play with their human friends.
