- Description
- 1 videocassette (79 min.) : si. (with a musical score), b&w/col.; 1/2 in.
- Summary
- Lon Chaney stars as the hideously scarred denizen of the catacombs who terrorizes the Paris Opera House above. Obsessed with a beautiful, young soprano, the manic composer lures her to his subterranean apartment and holds her captive. Noteworthy for its sets and makeup artistry, the film is also one of the few to survive from the twenties with a scene in the two-strip Technicolor process.
