Summary

1. This animated film, set in the prehistoric era, charts the predicament of plant-eating dinosaurs faced with a dwindling food supply due to the world's changing climate. A band of the giant lizards makes the long trek to the legendary Great Valley where plant life is plentiful. En route, a brontosaurus named Littlefoot and a triceratop, Cera, are born. Littlefoot, Cera and the other nomadic dinosaurs are menaced by the meat-eating tyrannosaurus rex just as the earth is convulsed by another geologic disturbance. Separated from their families, Cera and Littlefoot make the perilous journey to the Great Valley. (Circulates)
