- In this telling glimpse of midwestern Americana, Gladys Riggs, an attractive mother of three bored with her lot in life, decides to leave home. Married to a truck driver whom she considers unappreciative, Gladys prepares to escsape with a traveling salesman. Her son confronts her, however, and refuses to be left behind.
