Summary
The videomaker presents two conceptual pieces. "Theater/Scroll book" explores text and imagination. Inside a large letter box, a miniature theater is revealed. Behind the drawn curtain, a scroll with dense handwriting is unraveled. The narrator mentions a pyramid of lemons and encourages the viewer to imagine such an image. In "Notorola," an antique soda machine dispenses 15-cent bottles containing original artwork and writing. The narrator speculates on art-as-commodity and the buyer's dilemma of discarding or collecting it. At the conclusion, a buoyant bottle and its contents are thrown out to sea.
