Summary
The only film by the artist Fernand Léger demonstrates his concern with the mechanical world. Repetition, movement and multiple imagery combine to animate the "clockwork structures of everyday life." Images of kitchenware are intercut with those of a woman climbing and re-climbing a steep flight of stairs.
