Summary
In the third segment of this tape, Gregory Hines makes a special appearance on the opening night of San Francisco Ballet's 1982 season, to mark Michael Smuin's participation in the Broadway show Sophisticated ladies, in which Hines starred. Hines sings a medley of Duke Ellington songs and tap dances to Uptown dance by Stephane Grapelli, and finally performs a duet with Smuin to Take the A train.
