Binding by Lortic fils, 1898: Bright green crushed levant morocco. Back lettered in gilt; panels cornered and mitred in blind; at the bottom, the monogram of Mr. Spencer. With marbled endpapers and rough edges; gilt top. Original covers bound in.
Binding by De Sauty (signed on foot of front turn-in): Olive green crushed levant morocco, tooled in black and gilt, with inlays of dark red morocco. Free endleaves of red silk and paper; original front and back paper covers mounted as front and back pastedowns.
