2. A series of 12 oval stipple engravings in color, January and November by W. N. Gardiner, the other months by Francesco Bartolozzi, all after William Hamilton. Six (January, April, June, July, November and December) are in an early state with the names of the months in open capitals, and were published 1788-90. The other engravings have shaded capitals and were published in 1793. April and December have the inscription in scratch letter: Printed C:8 Hacquet in Col8. Each engraving has verses below, six from Thomson's Seasons.
3. With labels of Cortlandt F. Bishop and Lucius Wilmerding.
