Summary
Robert Lindgren (former director of School of American Ballet) and Suki Schorer (former NYC Ballet dancer/School of American Ballet teacher) discuss elements of the 1930's-1950's pre-Balanchine version of the Nutcracker Grand pas de deux choreographed by Alexandra Fedorova, during three demonstrations by Megan Bonneau and John Winfield. Celia Ipiotis interviews the dancers after the demonstrations about the difficulties involved with learning and performing this Russian style pas de deux.
