Note
  • Recording of lecture-demonstrations given by Frances Alenikoff, Carolyn Lord, and Elizabeth Keen at The New School for Social Research in New York City on Oct. 26, 1974. This group of lecture-demonstrations is the third of four that were held between Oct. 12 and Nov. 2, 1974, part of the ChoreoConcerts and critiques series of lecture-demonstrations performed at The New School and sponsored by the Choreographers Theatre. The choreographers speak about about their respective works, commissioned for and performed at the program, including movement demonstrations. The talks are followed by a question and answer period with the audience. Janet Soares's lecture-demonstration is not part of the recording, but she speaks about her work, Singing low songs ... and even thinking ... dancing, during the question and answer period with the audience. In addition, Meyer Kupferman, whose composition Keen used as the score for her dance, speaks briefly about his music during the question and answer period.
  • The sound quality of the speaker overall is good. The sound quality of the questions from the audience is poor.
  • Side B is blank.
