Photographs of John L. Wilks who served as Assistant Secretary of Labor for Compliance in the Nixon and Ford Administrations. Collection consists of quarter-length studio portraits, as well as a view of Wilks being sworn in as Assistant Secretary by George Shultz, Secretary of Labor, while his wife and President Richard Nixon look on (August 6, 1969).
