Summary

1. Stars Chita Rivera and Antonio Banderas discuss their roles in the Broadway revival of the musical Nine with Theater talk co-hosts Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins. Composed by Maury Yeston, Nine is based on Federico's Fellini's 1963 motion picture 8 1/2. Rivera and Banderas discuss their reinterpretations of the roles of Liliane La Fleur and Guido Contini for the revival directed by David Leveaux. The roles were established by Liliane Montevecchi and Raul Julia, respectively, in the original 1982 Broadway production. The performers speak about their reasons for working in the Broadway theater, and about their attitudes toward success.
