- Summary
- Theater talk hosts Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins welcome playwright David Auburn. Auburn discusses his new play Proof, about the relationship between a brilliant, deranged mathematician and his daughter.
- Actor Kate Burton and director Nicholas Martin are interviewed. The two are working on a new production of Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler, soon to open at Boston's Huntington Theatre prior to a New York run. Burton and Martin expound on their collaboration, and their efforts to produce a Hedda Gabler that reflects both the era in which it was written, and the one in which it is performed.
