- Summary
- Kevin McKenzie, Artistic Director of American Ballet Theatre, moderates a panel discussion with choreographer, James Kudelka. Kuldelka talks about how he became interested in dance; going to cultural events as a child; what led him to choreography; and who influenced him in choreography. Kudelka also explains his view of the Cinderella story; describes how to set up a scene to create humor; discusses the architecture of his choreography and his choreographic methodology; and describes the costumes designed for the ballet. Kudelka introduces the performed excerpts which are interspersed with the panel discussion.
