Summary
This video includes a concert performance of the musical Big lights, big city. After the first half of the perfomance, James C. Nicola, Artistic Director of the New York Theater Workshop moderates a panel discussion between the musical's composer, Paul Scott Goodman and writer, Jay McInerney. Jay McInerney talks about his first novel, on which this musical is based and Paul Scott Goodman talks about how he came to be involved in creating this musical and both discuss their process of collaboration. The panel discussion is followed by the second half of the concert performance.
