- Collection consists of letters and business papers relating to the sale of the Globe by Blair and Rives to Thomas Richie and John P. Heiss, 1845-1847, including a signed agreement dated 12 Apr. 1845, and a letter to Thomas Ritchie from his attorney Thomas Green, 1846; also, a subscription to the Globe, 1837; and an affidavit of William Blanchard by his attorney, licensing his patent for use by John C. Rives, 1860.
