Summary
  1. This program features a panel discussion of a new production of George Frideric Handel's Agrippina for the spring 2002 New York City Opera season, interspersed with performances of arias from the opera. Panelists discuss Handel's early career in Venetian public opera, Vincenzo Grimani's farcical libretto, and the challenge of directing and performing da capo arias.
