Summary
  1. This program features a panel discussion focusing on American Ballet Theatre as a magnet for dancers, interspersed with performances of dances by company members. Kevin McKenzie opens the discussion with actor Peter Gallagher, who portrayed a ballet company director in the film Center stage, which showcased a number of ABT dancers. Former ABT principal Martine Van Hamel discusses her experience with the company, as do several current members. The range of the company repertoire is frequently cited as a major reason for ABT's appeal to dancers from around the world.
