Summary
This program focuses on dance competitions, and includes panel discussions following each dance performance. The panelists discuss their individual backgrounds and their experiences with dance competitions, including the USA International Ballet Competition, the Erik Bruhn Prize, the Paris International Ballet Competition, the Moscow International Ballet Competition, and TV's Star search. The dancers talk about their reasons for joining competitions and what effect it had on their careers, specifically in relationship to their recruitment by American Ballet Theatre.
