Summary
  1. This program includes a panel discussion on three of the Carolina Ballet's new choreographic works, interspersed with performances of two of the dances and excerpts from the third. Panelists discuss the company's formation in 1997, its goal of presenting work with a "dramatic bent," and the choreographer's collaboration with singer and actress Andrea Marcovicci in creating the evening's dances. The process of choreographing to spoken poetry without music in Play on words is also addressed.
