29 prints : etching, engraving, some col.; 32.8 x 34.2 cm. or smaller.
Summary
Political caricatures from the reign of George III, arranged by date, including satires dealing with the American Revolution and the Siege of Gibraltar. In one of these (Pol.I.38) Spain is personified as Don Quixote. Other images include Britannia, John Bull, the Devil and an early representation of a merry-go-round. Pol.I.41 and Pol.I.58 are scatological.
