- Mid-twentieth century composer of orchestral music, Arthur Koty (ca. 1912-1984), also published arrangements under the name, Archie Koty. Koty had one sister, Florence Newmark, who was an elementrary school music teacher. Among the compositions with arrangements by Koty are Clarinet Polka, The Parrot, and Le Secret.
