[Extra! Extra! A holiday is over and yet there is still a holiday to celebrate! Worthy public: Although Passover is over, we shall nonetheless be celebrating a holiday at the Windsor Theatre on Wednesday evening , the 20th of April, 1898. The benefit is in honor of our beloved actor and assistant stage-manager, Solomon Manne. To the stage, for the first time this season, we shall present, Crazy for Love with the following cast: Our singular primadonna and dramatist Mme Kalish, for the first time in NewYork in the role of Clara the Crazy; our one-and-only soubrette, Mme Thomashefski, in two artistic roles as Anna the servant and the negress; Mme Manne as Markus' mother. The younf artist, Mr. Abie Simonhof in his artistic role as the child of Markus and Clara. OUr guest from Philadelphia, Mr. Rosentol in his role as Markus; Mr. Elias Rotshteyn in the role as the nephew from America; Mr. Leon Blank as the character actor as Captain, Mr. Moskovitsh as Markus' father, Mr. Fishkind as Ignats the Frenchman and the benefit honoree as ve-khalkhalkot. Worthy public, I do not wish to disguise myself before me since you know me in my roles behind the scenes and on stage.
