Summary

Photographs of John Henry Hester, coroner of Atlantic County (New Jersey) during the 1950s. Collection consists of candid photos of Hester voting and being sworn in as coronor. Hester is also depicted in a portrait with his wife, Hattie Hester (1951); and with Bernice Mably, and Mrs. and Mrs. Horace Robinson, all in bathing suits, on a beach, probably in Atlantic City. Also included is a quarter-length studio portrait of Hattie Hester (1949).
