- This documentary follows the lives of three Cambodian-American teenagers in Lowell, Mass., exploring how these children of refugees balance traditional family and cultural responsabilities with American popular culture and the trials of growing up in poverty. The three teenagers rehearse and perform with a Cambodian dance troupe, which provides a connection to their family histories.
