Summary
  1. Japanese public television documentary segment about New York choreographer, dancer, Homer Avila. He was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and had surgery to remove his right leg and hip. He discusses his life in New York, his choreography, and his dancing. Zvi Gotheiner's ballet class is observed while Avila participates, followed by a discussion with Gotheiner. This segment previews his concert with Edisa Weeks entitled, Without Words, at the Cunningham Studio in Feb. 2002 and includes footage of his work with Edisa Weeks and the Without Words concert.
