Summary

1. An exploration of Ekstasis by Dieter Schnebel. The disc includes a television program, originally broadcast as part of the series Musica Viva : Forum der Gegenwartsmusik, on station BR-alpha, featuring performances presented by Musica Viva in Munich. Also included are two full length performances of the piece recorded on June 22, 2002. One performance runs without interruption and the second is interspersed with commentary by the composer, recorded in 2005.
