Summary
  1. This program celebrates the dancing, teaching and choreography of Fernando Bujones. The program opens with a film including excerpts from Bujones's performances at the 1974 International Ballet Competition at Varna and from his later performances with American Ballet Theater and other companies. Bujones speaks with Celia Ipiotis about the Varna competition, at which he won the gold medal; his studies with his coach Zaida Cecilia Mendez and with teacher Stanley Williams; his own teaching, coaching, restaging and choreography. Insterspersed with these comments, Bujones coaches students of the School of American Ballet in ballet excerpts, and the students then perform excerpts from Bujones's choreography. Bujones introduces the students individually.
