Summary
Cassettes contain radio commercial spots used for Broadway productions of "The mystery of Edwin Drood" and "Daughters". On cassette 1, the radio spot "Tony nominations" (60 sec.) featured George Rose as the Chairman and the dubbed musical excerpt of "Don't quit while you're ahead". It was written and aired before the 1986 Tony Awards. On cassette 2, the first radio spot "Tony Awards" also featured Rose and the song "Don't quit while you're ahead", but the spot was written after Drood's big wins at the 1986 Tony Awards. The second [incomplete] and third radio spots on the recording were commercials about John Morgan Evan's comedy "Daughters", which was presented at the West Side Arts Theater.
