Summary
Cassettes contain a reading of a show-within-a music show, Tommy's King's memories, considered by the New York Shakespeare Festival but not produced. In the beginning of the reading, a song audition and short music and dance rehearsal takes place. The rest of the reading is the "performance" of the various music and dance acts and a skit with unidentified performers. The music is a mix of Big Band, jazz, country, and popular songs from the 1930's to the 1960's.
