Summary
This interview was recorded for a BBC program called Digital being: identity, which explored the influence of digital technology on concepts of identity. Cunningham discusses Loops, a project created by Paul Kaiser, for which Cunningham performed hand movements recorded with motion capture technology, and contributed a spoken accompaniment. Cunningham speaks about the process of creating the project, his feelings about the project and about digital technology, and how he developed the hand movements he performed. The interview lasts 15 min.; a 3-min excerpt from Loops appears at the end of the disc.
