- Each member of the panel, including moderator Michelle Potter, gives a brief talk on how Merce Cunningham influenced them personally. Potter speaks about Cunningham's collaborations with composers and artists, and his innovative use of space. Laura Kuhn, director of the John Cage Trust, discusses Cunningham's relationship with Cage. David Vaughan, archivisit of the Merce Cunningham Dance Foundation, speaks about his association with Cunningham. Journalists Jill Sykes and Rita Clark discuss reactions to the Cunningham company's first appearance in Australia in 1976, and personal reactions to seeing the company for the first time. Nanette Hassall discusses her time as a member of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company and how it influenced her later work as a teacher. The recording ends abruptly, and does not include comments by Jonah Bokaer.
