  • "Blue window" (2nd work) was based on Teiji Itō's lyrical variations of Strauss's "Blue Danube waltz."
  • Text of John Cage's "Widow of eighteen springs" (3rd work) was from James Joyce's "Finnegans wake." Barbara Noska's reading was accompanied by percussion.
  • Text for Cage's "Forever and sunsmell" was by e.e. cummings.
  • The performer playing the barker was not specified in "La testa d'Adriane" (6th work). A carnival recording provided background noise.
