- Disc 1. Recording begins with performance already in progress. Robert Wilson depicted directing and walking among actors on stage, followed by production meeting. Then, Ruth Iskin introduces symposium, followed by an unidentified speaker, Philip Glass, and Wilson. Glass discusses collaborating with Wilson and Einstein on the beach. Recording ends abruptly. (ca. 63 min.)
- Disc 2. Recording begins with footage of what appears to be a rehearsal. David Byrne and others shown on stage. Robert Wilson provides directing cues. Byrd Hoffman Foundation records state "Includes short rehearsal, Head's 'Burning down the house,'" but no music is heard. At ca. 4:54 min., recording returns to Philip Glass speaking at symposium as on Disc 1, followed by presentations from David Hockney, Jonathan Demme, and Robert Wilson. Recording ends abruptly. (ca. 63 min.)
