- Summary
- This brief report on Merce Cunningham's use of Life Forms software was broadcast as part of CNN's science and technology week. The report includes an explanation of Life Forms, a three-dimensional human animation system, with footage of Cunningham using the software with Thecla Schiphorst, and clips from a performance of Trackers (the first piece Cunningham choreographed using Life Forms). Cunningham, in an interview filmed at the Cunningham studios, speaks about his interest in Life Forms and the advantages he believes it provides to choreographers and dancers.
