Summary

1. Documentary on the backstage workers responsible for putting on the Broadway musical production Cats. Besides its 22 performers, it takes a total of 135 people working behind the scenes to produce each performance at the Winter Garden Theatre. Film combines still photos and audio interviews with Cats' various personnel, e.g. its stage manager, hairdresser, wardrobe captain, conductor and house manager who describe their jobs and those of the people they oversee.
