  1. Unedited footage recorded for the documentary Limón: a life beyond words. José Limón's dance work A choreographic offering, first performed in 1964, was created in memory of his artistic mentor Doris Humphrey, and its choreography is based on movements from her dances. The first 14 min. of this tape contain candid footage of a rehearsal onstage, with the dancers dressed in rehearsal clothes. They practice brief excerpts from the piece, sometimes without music. A full performance of the work, in costume, begins at ca. 15 min. into the tape.
