Summary
Sherry Dean reports on Merce Cunningham's use of Life Forms software to develop his choreography. The segment includes comments on their experience with Life Forms by Cunningham and dancers Jenifer Weaver and Michael Cole, as well as footage of Cunningham using the software, and of rehearsals in the Cunningham studios. The segment lasts 3 min. The remainder of the tape contains excerpts from performances and videodance pieces by the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, including: CRWDSPCR, Beach birds, Ground level overlay, Beach birds for camera, Changing steps, and a rehearsal filmed in Seoul, South Korea.
